Anthea, my niece has been in Royal Brisbane Hospital for a couple of months now, having her legs straightened (a complication of her severe disease which has left her bed-ridden for the last 5 years). The first photo is of Shane visiting Anthea, and this is when her first leg was braced. That brace is now removed, the second leg has been braced and both legs are now straight. The second photo is a nicer one of Anthea and Shane. Anthea celebrated her 21st birthday a fortnight ago, and is really looking forward to being able to walk again.
