After breakfast Al & Darryl headed back to town to get the tyres fixed. Dell and I chatted and did family history, and had only just moved under some shady trees on the creekbank after lunch, when the horn sounded and they were back. They'd had time to get the tyres fixed and have showers at home. We had a few scuds come through but it was very light rain.

We opted to stay another night, as it was a bit late to move on. I cooked up a Cheese and Garlic Damper which went down very well with a glass of wine.
