Darryl got up early to try and walk further downstream to Fig Tree Point to see Lake Como but turned back when it was obvious the Wilderness Trail was leading him away from the lake. He then walked from the road, following pig trails through chest-high reeds to the top portion of Lake Como to take photos and a GPS point. When he returned we packed up and headed out towards Gympie, then the farm. A couple of goannas were fighting.
