We had decided to spend the day on Sentosa Island. There are a number of ways to get there, ferry, cable-car, monorail, but we decided to walk over on the boardwalk.
Most was pretty quiet, but Universal Studios was a big hit.
Here are the escalators to get us out of here...as it's not really our 'thing'
If you know us, you will know that the 'city-like' commercial areas are not really our cup of tea, so we headed out of the retail complex and found a 'bushwalk' called Mount Imbiah Nature Trail. We thought that we would be completely alone, but it was actually quite a busy track with lots doing their morning exercise walks. As a result we didn't really see any wildlife, as a lot of the exercisers were talking quite loudly.
This was the roof of a picnic shelter
Another cute shelter
Yes, it looked like rib bones of a whale
At the top was the 'Magazine'
Hmmm...these steps wouldn't pass WHS in Aus
There were several of these massive statues
Next stop was the free skywalk to Fort Siloso
A view from the Skywalk
That's a lot of ships waiting
We didn't get a photo, but saw squirrels while walking back
Siloso Beach- there was a free tram to take in the view
We couldn't stay long as it started to rain
We took the free Monorail back to the mainland, and passed this temple
Back on the mainland we found a Shopping Centre with a Food Court to get a late lunch.
Chinatown is a famous attraction zone in Singapore.
