Thailand 2 Nov

Holiday Style Ao Nang Beach Resort  is our delightful accommodation.

The back of our ground-floor units

A walk along the esplanade with the kids was a way of orientating ourselves to this new environment.

The Swordfish street lights were intriguing.

Mangroves grow in the creeks as they near the beach

Coconuts are everywhere

Skyla found an interesting snail

Enjoying the goldfish pond

More yummy tucker

After lunch we walked to a local shopping centre to pick up supplies. This Supermarket seemed to have most groceries we required. Passing through a Wednesday Day Market on the way, we asked about the price of fruit which was way too high, so we didn't end up buying anything from there.

I wasn't quite sure if this was anti- or pro-tourists

At night we walked the opposite way to another set of night markets.
It's very hard to choose when there are so many choices.

Delicious prawns

The bridge lit up at night

I was thrilled to finally find the shirts I had been looking for, although I couldn't get any with Tigers, and ended up with Butterflies.
