We started out with a fairly vague plan of taking the train back to town, and looking at a local park.

| There are little personal temples even in backyards |
![]() |
| And tiny lanes zig-zagging everywhere |
![]() |
| Municipal buildings even have small temples |
![]() |
| Another trip on this lovely train |
![]() |
| We passed this temple on the way to the park |

| Chatachuk Park |
![]() |
| There are a lot of rules! |
![]() |
| I really liked the way they hid the rubbish bins inside these hedges so they didn't spoil the park |

| I think this says "Health Garden - Honor for Lent" |
![]() |
| Royal family members |
![]() |
| These sculptures were a surprise |
![]() |
| And some live animals |
![]() |
| The flower of the Cannonball tree |
![]() |
![]() |
| More royals |
![]() |
| I went in to Wat Pho temple, while Darryl waited for me outside |
![]() |
| This Buddha is BIG! So big he has to lie down to fit in his temple |
![]() |
| And there were some little happy buddhas too! |
![]() |
| Free water for the overheated |
![]() |
| Outside the Grand Palace (we didn't go in) |
![]() |
| Ministry of Defence Hall |
![]() |
| Food at Thammasat University Tha Phra Chan |
![]() |
| Then the ferry back to near the train station |
| We decided that we'd go for a Tai Massage and chose Bunbura Massage just behind the markets |
![]() |
| Getting a good foot soak first |
![]() |
| And nice and relaxed afterwards! (I think she's laughing at us behind that mask) |
