We took a local bus to Athens, (and I saw my first ever dead person at the bus exchange - with a policeman waiting beside him - don't know what happened). We wanted to get the Hop-On-Hop-Off bus, and the first ticket agent we spoke to was helpful. Even though it is supposed to be 2 days for the ticket, he gave us the 3rd to get to the Port on Saturday. The bus went completely around its route once, (1hour 40 mins) so we saw everything, then we returned to the Acropolis.

Had a loo break, then ate at a Cafe, got our tickets and walked up to see the Coliseum, and other temples.

Mythos Radler was delicious! Even though I normally don't drink beer. |

Sorry this is at a funny angle...I was more interested in the shapes and patters of the crazing than the people |

Big storm. |

It's amazing how plants can survive in the most inhospitable environments., and this shows the deep foundations below. |

It's a bit wet |

One last look back as we were leaving |
There was a huge thunderstorm while we were there. Some people were sheltering under trees...not us! The attendants were madly blowing whistles to get them to move away. With the rain coming again we jumped on a very busy bus (blue line), and by accident it was the one for the Cruise Terminals, so we got to see the Port and get a bit of an idea of the layout of it all.

This is one of the less-crazy streets |

A broken down bus gave us a laugh...."CURSE OCAZIONALE"! |

Now this is one cool cat! |
