Trip to Greece & Spain - Day 25

Once again, we went into town by local bus. It was our second day of our ticket on the Hop-on-Hop-off bus, and we got off where we could walk to the Chemist. We took our RATs...about 10 mins later...bad news...still +ve! We were a bit devastated, as we had been feeling completely healthy for days.

We stopped at a quiet area in the park to try to find out what we had to do. Steve (my brother in Australia) tried to help, but Customer Service in Australia was closed already. I emailed our insurance for assistance as well. I finally figured out that we had to try again tomorrow, and turn up at the Port. If we're still +ve either the cruise or insurance would get us home. So we decied to make the best of it and went to look at the sights again, including Zeus Temple, Katastari Flea Markets and Hadrian's Library.

We're still the only ones wearing masks!

The main market

Athens Gardens which was once the Palace Gardens

Quercus Ilex

I 'think' this is the museum for the gardens

We went to the Main Town Markets for lunch.

He's proud of his veg!

I had grilled Calamari (whole). We bought a few nibblies for dinner (cheese, nuts, halva, and fruit).

Our Restaurant

Some sort of Salmon

Grilled Kalamari

Just a few pigeons

Temple of Zeus. The largest, but not much left

Lots of crowds when they do the 'changing of the guards' (the reason there's not many people right now, is that it's not a change time, and that's the only reason I could get close enough to get a clear photo)

A view of the Acropolis pops up in many places

This is a tiny chuch with a modern building built around it

An antique shop near the bus depot

We made it back home, and re-packed for our cruise tomorrow.
