Along Battle Camp Road

Isabella Creek Falls were along Battle Camp Road and we got to the Normanby River for Morning Tea.

The road to Kalpower (Lakefield National Park)

A River Crossing

Some didn't make it!

Leichhardt Trees

Some sort of fruit

We weren’t entirely impressed by, Lake Emma, or Horseshoe Lagoon, but we saw emus before stopping at Old Laura Homestead for lunch.

You can see how impressed Darryl is...

The afternoon was spent checking out Catfish Waterhole and Kennedy Bend Waterhole.

Don't swim here!

We saw some brolgas before settling at Kalpowar for camping (Site 17). There were plenty of Crows & a Sea Eagle, but a nice cool breeze came from across the river.

Sea Eagle

We were invited to damper with neighbouring campers, Peter, Paula, David and Pat, then sat around the our fire with Jason and Paul.
Darryl declared the Damper was delicious
