Cape York Trip - Day 29

Darryl went for a long beach walk and saw big croc tracks and a little one swimming in the mangroves, while I had breakfast.

His foot was bigger than Darryl's
A smaller croc was here

That's one big witchety grub!

Bar-shouldered Doves

We drove back to Injinoo for fuel, but they were out. Horses were on the road on the way to Mutee Heads.

We were chatting to a guy, Stewart and it turned out that he had worked at Eventide in Rockhampton. A neighbouring camper was Les from SA. Darryl tried fishing off the rocks with Les, (who headed into the water to try and escape the sandflies), but neither got anything.

There were lots of mozzies for the first time on the trip. I had some phone access.

After we went to bed there was a little bat catching mosquitoes on the windows and door of the tent. At first I wasn't sure what the flicking noise was, but then saw some of them under the annexe.
