Cape York Trip - Day 25

It was a clear day and the neighbouring campers were all packing up to head off. We took a short walk along river bank as there had been reports of red-eyes at night (crocodiles), but we didn’t see any.

I still can't decide if this is a fossil

I liked this because of the sedimentary layers

We had lunch before leaving for Laura where we booked in at the Quinkan Hotel for the night. If you have a meal and book in and they will mind the camper for the time we are away. I enjoyed a  very nice barra meal and Darryl had pork belly in plum sauce which was also lovely. Some inconsiderate neighbour had sports on TV, and then when that stopped someone was playing guitar and singing until 11:30pm.
