The Museum at Mitchell was extremely interesting with lots of well-curated exhibits.

Morning Tea was at  the park around the corner, before we hit the road again. More emus were along the way before we got to Charleville.

Shopping at IGA, was followed by a tour of the Royal Flying Doctor museum.

We had a little trouble finding the correct place to purchase our fuel and after pulling into the closed Puma, John was breath tested by the Police, but while he was pulled over, one helped us, as Darryl had forgotten to close the flap on the canopy.

We then took the Diamantina Development Road before turning off on 40km of gravel road to Cooladdi Free Camping. This spot, across the Paroo River, and upstream a little, was delightful. A little bonus was the firepit and table.
