North Queensland - 6 Sep 2021

We packed and put our vehicle into the Day Parking Area (which was actually pretty full). I went on the Lookout walks, and saw ring-tailed dragon, grevillea, and a channel billed cuckoo.

Darryl went on the Constance Walk, while Dell went to the Island Stacks.

Al packed their camp, and on everyone's return we drove to Adele's Grove and had a scout around before booking in and paying $40 for all of us in one site beside the creek.

Down in the orchard we found a lovely site right on the creek-bank, then went to the Bistro for lunch.

I had the most delicious barra, chips and salad. Coming in we had passed a Gilbert's Dragon and I went back and found him still perched on his rock.

We decided against going to Riversleigh (we had been before), so pottered around camp. After another swim it was lovely under the trees.
