North Queensland - 7 Sep 2021

Dell and I up went to the Bistro (for some last minute internet), then we left and drove back to Gregory River for lunch.

This hawk had her nest in a nearby tree

Saw Mary again, then went on to Burke and Wills for fuel, before turning north towards Normanton.

There were not many birds along the way, only a couple of wallabies but 60km out of Normanton we saw dozens of brolgas.

Unfortunately, we arrived at Normanton too late for the restaurant at the Caravan Park, which was supposed to be a really good, so we cooked our own meals. The place had very quirky toilets.

Yes...you're right, that 'is' a boat in a tree!
