The temperature wasn't to bad this morning at 6.2C. We moved over to the shelter at the park for our boil up. This area was where we were 'supposed' to be camping.
After an hour's drive we came to Manna Hill.
Half an hour down the road, at Yunta, light rain started to fall.
We made it to the well-kept town of Peterborough for lunch.

What a fantastic idea. The shadow shows at the correct time of the year. |
Our next stop was the old mining town of Burra, where we combed the cemetery for relatives.

Not our family, but I love these old slate headstones. So clear after all this time. |

We did a bit of a drive around town, and checked out the mining area at the top of the hill.
The it was out of town a bit to our camping spot - "Worlds End"...Burra Gorge, where we were treated to huge Redgums and 100s of Galahs coming down for an afternoon drink and bath.

We were the only camper on the high ground with the rest down near the creek.
