We walked around town to photograph historic buildings, and family houses in Caroline St.

These houses with no eaves amazed me |
After that I went to the National Trust in Moonta, located in the old Moonta School of Mines, for the morning, and scoured their vertical files for family information.
After lunch we drove to Kadina to Yorke Peninsula FHG for me to do more research. The staff there really tried to help, but I didn't achieve much more than what I already knew.
On way back we dropped in to see Ben, and he showed us the coastline, including the memorial for his wife Pam.

Then we all went to Port Hughes Tavern for dinner.

Ribs of course! And a glass of red. |
