South Australia 12 May 2023

We took our time packing up at Marion Bay as we were chatting to other campers.

It was a short drive to a point south of the beach, where we walked to the lookout, then on to the shipwreck trail to Cable Beach.

We called in to the Innes National Park office but still had to book online.

 Stopped at Narunnga Lookouts

I saw a little snake, which turns out to be a highly venomous, but baby, Peninsula Brown!

We found our site, No 2 at Cable Bay campground. and initially were a little disappointed as it seemed small, but it turned out great. We had lunch, then went for a walk to the beach.

We then rode our bikes to the historic Inneston where they used to mine gypsum. Had a look around. It seems some of the houses are set up as lodges which you can rent.

Wallabies beside the trail on our way back.

Then rode our to the lighthouse where there were several kangaroos sunning themselves.

Went down to the beach for Happy Hour and sat on a rock shelf that provided a little bit of shelter. Beautiful temp. Just in T shirt.

Very windy during night, but no rain and no Aurora. Moon was up early and there were clouds.
