It was quite a bit warmer this morning at 9.4C. I had to do some repairs on the cover for the camper and sew it by hand. This river had a 'big rocks' picnic area, but there, strangely, were no rocks except the boulders in the creek... The other camper left quite early, before our 9am departure.

We didn't see any emus around...but knew they were there 'somewhere'... |

This part of the trip was very windy.
Darryl walked up Mount Talowla lookout while I sheltered from the wind in the car.

Louth to Tilpa had a very soft dirt road for most of the way, and we stopped at Tilpa for lunch.

Village on the floodplain |
No-one else was at the Coach & Horses campsite, (we discovered later that it had been closed due to the previous flooding, and wasn't officially open yet).

The flood came up at least this high! |

A very cold wind was blowing here, and there were a family of feral cats living in the long grass. Plenty of fish were jumping in the river, and the birds were bickering on sundown. Eventually, the wind died down during the night.
