Kimberleys Trip 10 June 2019

It was much warmer this morning, and we went into town to try and get the hitch fixed. Darryl found a place which sold the black ones, (we have the cheap red Chinese one), but they couldn't do the required welding for 2 days, so sent us to another place around the corner which could. We left the camper while the repairs were being completed, and went shopping and had morning tea in a park. We went back to the Caravan Park to book in for the night, and met the couple next to us, Ian & Jan (who are from Mackay). After lunch we got the phone call that the camper was ready, so picked it up, and set up. I sat by the lake, enjoying the view, and waiting to hear from cousin Lynette & hubby John, and my phone & laptop died! Eventually Lynette found us. They had been shifted to a different site as their van wouldn't fit in the site allocated. We had a lovely catch-up with Lynette, (who is from Victoria), then after dinner we all went to their campsite for coffee and chatted until around 9pm. John's brother, Kevin and his wife Linda, were travelling with them. The park has Barking Owls, which really had us confused at first, as we really thought there were dogs barking.
